On Sunday we talked about asking, seeking, and knocking. Jesus said that if we do these things the door would be opened to us. What I liked best is that we are qualified to ask. There is nothing we have done or can do to disqualify ourselves from that position.
Thank you Jesus! But asking is the just the beginning. As children of God we can look for answers, knock on doors, and anticipate the reception of something good. Jesus invites his people into a life that takes risks and tries things.
Let’s try something today . . .
Listed below are the requests that were submitted on Sunday. Time didn’t allow us to pray as a community, but the internet will. So, make some time to pray through these this week. I know . . . you don’t have time; you don’t know how; it’s not your thing, but try it. Take a risk. You’re not only qualified to bring your own requests, but the requests of others. Finish your time of prayer by asking God for joy, peace, security, opportunity, and love. Don’t be surprised when he gives them to you.
Father I ask that you would provide the following for my brothers and sisters:
