Every Monday I take my son into “tourist country” for his drum lessons at George’s music on I-drive. Driving through Universal Studio’s once a week for the last year has taught my son a lot about world cultures.

• Brazilians only travel in herds.
• All English people are born with second-degree sunburn.
• At some point as an American citizen he will have to choose between supporting a college team or a pro team… because this will obviously decide the family’s wardrobe when traveling.

I was explaining to him the old phrase “birds of a feather flock together.”
How as humans we naturally gravitate towards people who understand and share our experiences of life.
As a result we start to look and act alike.

Hebrews 2:18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Just thinking about ridiculous effort God took to share in our experience so we could flock together.

You are not alone,
Adam
