One second your standing in an elevator and the next thing you know, George Michaels’ “I’m never gonna dance again” has magically whipped up the memory of flirting over a game of air hockey at Skate King.
Events and memories are attached to songs, its cool, I love that about music and so does God.
That’s why the Psalms are in the middle of the Scriptures and our people have been singing them for thousands of years. For every memory you make with God there is a song that sticks to it.
I wonder what this one will conjure up for you?
Psalm 100
Shout for Joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Enjoy the day,
Adam
