Birthdays are great. Friends and family celebrate your existence.
All mistakes, disappointments, tragedies are given a time-out for cake, ice cream and presents.
“We’re glad you’re alive!”
Today is my son’s birthday. I am celebrating because I love him; I want him to have a great day…(b-day’s last a week at our house). I want Lowery to know that his 9-year-old life has been used to shape mine. Lowery is a part of who I am, who I am becoming, and that’s a gift.
I think there is something here for us.
I don’t want to figure it all out right now; I have a party to plan. But here is what I’m thinking . . . God is glad you’re alive today. Don’t miss the cake, ice cream and gifts.
James 1:17-18
“Every good and perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the words of truth, that we might be a kind of first-fruits of all he created.”
Happy Birthday Lowery!
Happy Birthday everyone!
