Grace asked me last week if the rain was ever going to stop. She had been trapped inside for a while and wondered if the sun was just gone. I realized that our lives in Florida have been shaped by the assumption of sun. Knowing that the sun will be back, I wait to mow the yard, exercise, or take the dogs out. What else influences my thoughts and actions so immediately?
Was reading this passage in Scripture referred to as the “Hall of Faith” in Hebrews 11.
The inductee’s are not all that intelligent, hard working, or even moral, they just lived by the assumption that God could be trusted.
I like that.By Faith we are becoming people who allow the reality of God to inform our lives.
