Happy Anniversary!
New City is celebrating 1 full year of being a church this Sunday. So I am using the occasion to invite new people into checking us out. It’s intimidating, but has become an opportunity for me to really practice what I have been preaching.
- We are a big deal to God. God calls us a chosen people, chosen to enjoy life with him, and share that life with the world around us.
- We let God be God. The pressure of success is off. We are called to trust the work of Christ and let God provide our happiness.
- The church is a people you belong too, not a place you go. I am proud to invite neighbors, friends and co-workers to meet you. I think that the city will be better because of what we are becoming together.
A year ago I knew that we might have something good if we could get people to join. This year I am inviting people to join because I know we have something good. Life.
