Last night I asked God “What am I learning?” At that exact moment my phone rang. It was someone who scares me (don’t worry it wasn’t you). I instinctively opted for the flight reflex and let it go to message. Then I opted for the defensive imagination route (worry)…for about 20 minutes. When I finally stepped up to listen to the message, which I knew was going to be bad, it ended up being a “butt call”. When your name starts with A or B you get a lot of accidental phone calls. Let’s just say I have heard several people get a little snotty with the Wendy’s drive thru.

My heavenly father, with just the right timing and tenderness smiled at me last night. He said
“Don’t worry about things that haven’t happened yet.”

Deut. 31:8
8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Always learning that the life I was made for is found in trusting, not worrying.

Have a great weekend!!
Adam,
call me if you need anything I’m learning to answer every time.
