I went to Wal-mart the other day. As my turn came up, the check out lady with the accent looked me square in the eye and announced; “That hair cut looks good on you.” I was completely caught off guard, and started mumbling something about how I didn’t even really do it all up today…thank you. The Transaction ended with me trying to use my positive words back at her by saying something like; ”No… NO! You have a nice day.” Goofy smiles all the way around.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Words are powerful.
