Anthony posted Psalm 25 on our Facebook page yesterday, I’m glad he did it.

This one idea emerged above all the others for me; you will never be ashamed for trusting God.

Sometimes I feel embarrassed about the things I say or do. I go back and wish I had said it different, better…(sermons, emails, relationships). For me, the shame comes from the outrageous lie that God only wants to bless the best and I am not the best.

What ever form insecurity takes, it lurks deep inside most of us and loves to pour shame all over our relationship with God. The truth is that God blesses all who are humble enough to call out to him for help, He thinks that is the best. Psalm 25 reminds me that we will never regret, or be humiliated by the decision to trust God.

You will never be ashamed for trusting God.

“No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame…” Psalm 25:3

“Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.” Psalm 25:20

Go in confidence today,

Adam
